Dual-scoop grabs are used for transshipment of bulk cargoes with a bulk density from – 0.6 to 3.2 t / m3, such as – coal, ore, alumina, grain, etc.
The volume of the grab is from 1 to 50 m3.
The design and geometry of the buckets are selected in accordance with the characteristics of the cargo (bulk density, fractional composition, dusting, etc.).
